Lowell School in Washington, DC, is seeking certified swim instructors for our Aquatics program, serving students ages PK-8; this will be an immediate hire.

We offer:
Water Safety Instructor training (WSI)
Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and FirstAid training/certification
Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred
Current Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR-AED certifications are required
Demonstrated experience working with children
Excellent character, integrity, and adaptability
Ability to communicate and work with a variety of ages and skill levels
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight
Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical Requirements:
Must possess or be able to obtain certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid (American Red Cross preferred).
Swimming skills are necessary and must be effectively demonstrated prior to employment.
Must be able to swim 200 yards
Must be able to communicate with students in a pool environment.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Expected Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
