To best serve your child, we consider their age, developmental milestones, and school readiness. Pre-Primary School and Kindergarten applicants must meet our age requirements with limited exceptions. 

Pre-Primary School:
  • N2: must be at least 2 and a half years old by September 1, 2025
  • PS: must be at least 3 years old by September 1, 2025
  • PK: must be at least 4 years old by September 1, 2025
Primary School:
  • Kindergarten: must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025
Although our application deadline has passed, we are accepting late applications. Late applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis and as space allows.

Step 2 - Create a profile in Ravenna
Lowell School uses Ravenna to manage the application process from inquiry through decision.
Begin the admission process by creating a profile in Ravenna and choosing “Lowell School” as the school you are exploring. The steps of our admissions process are clearly defined in Ravenna; they differ by grade level but may include: 
  • Submitting an Application Form
  • Completing a Parent/Guardian Questionnaire 
  • Requesting student records/transcripts and teacher recommendations from your child’s current school
  • Submitting a Student Essay (3rd–8th-grade applicants) 
  • Scheduling a Student Visit or Playdate for your child
At this time, you simply need to complete the Application Form. Our team will reach out regarding next steps.
